JAKARTA - Catholic youth held the Basic Education and Training (Diklatsar) of the Catholic Youth Corps (Paskokat) Wave III at the Lampung Police State School (SPN), 16 - 18 January 2026, as an effort to strengthen the kaderization and at the same time emphasize the ecological concern of Catholic youth.

Carrying the theme "Ad Maiora Natus Sum", hundreds of participants from Catholic Youth, OMK, students, teachers, and Catholic youth activists were applauded as a step towards Paskokat membership.

The General Chair of the Catholic Youth, Stefanus Gusma, emphasized that Paskokat is the organization's national strategic program.

"Paskokat is Basic Education and Training to form cadres who are militant, patriotic, social-minded, and ready to serve the nation and the Church. Meanwhile, the National Commander of Paskokat, Yustinus Wuarmanuk, explained that the Diklatsar Paskokat Wave III uses an integrated training method.

"This training combines discipline and mental coaching, strengthening national character, forming ecological spirit, and improving various strategic soft skills," he explained.

Participants are equipped with disaster management and first aid skills, public negotiation and lobbying, non-litigation advocacy, service-based leadership, mass organization, to strengthening social networks based on ecological concerns in the midst of disaster and community challenges.

The Head of the Catholic Youth of the Lampung Regional Command, Falentinus Andi, added that this activity was carried out thanks to cross-sector collaboration.

"Paskokat Wave III is carried out through cooperation with St. Anna Hospital, Perdhaki Lampung, and the Health Commission. This synergy strengthens the readiness of cadres, especially in the humanitarian and health service aspects," he concluded.
