President Prabowo Directly Reviews the Facilities of the 9 Banjarbaru People's Schools

BANJARBARU - President Prabowo Subianto directly reviewed the 9 Integrated People's School (SRT) of the Social Welfare Education and Training Center (BBPPKS), Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan on Monday, January 12 afternoon.

President Prabowo's presence was immediately greeted with cheers from the STR 9 students who wore complete folk school uniforms. Also accompanying the Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Saifullah Yusuf.

President Prabowo then directly witnessed a number of school facilities, starting from classrooms. Furthermore, President Prabowo again reviewed the computer room and greeted the students.

Currently, the learning system in public schools is supported by digital technology, including a learning management system and laptops for students. Prabowo then walked back to review the library, the Natural Science Laboratory (IPA) and the mini theater, while taking the time to see the performance of the students.

After watching President Prabowo's healthy gymnastics performance, he also saw the process of giving Free Nutritious Meals (MBG).

Currently, more than 15 thousand students have attended learning in 166 pilot people's schools from the western tip of Aceh to Papua which are supported by digital technology.

The government targets the opening of up to 500 public school points by 2029. Currently, the construction of permanent schools has begun in 104 points and is targeted to reach 200 points to increase capacity for up to 500 thousand students.
