Misri's examination at the Brigadir Nurhadi Death Trial Held Closed

MATARAM - The Mataram District Court, West Nusa Tenggara, held a closed session on Monday for the continuation of the case of the death of Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi, which scheduled the examination of the witness Misri together with Meylani Putri.

The Chairman of the Mataram District Court's Panel of Judges, Lalu Moh. Sandi Iramaya, stated this by seeing the immoral content of the examination agenda of the dating friends of the two defendants, namely Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama and Gde Aris Candra Widianto.

"In order to maintain the dignity of the witnesses, the examination was conducted in closed session because it contained indecent content," said the chairman of the panel of judges before taking the oath of the witnesses reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 12.

The panel of judges decided this based on the provisions of Law Number 13 of 2006 concerning the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) and the Supreme Court Regulation (Perma) concerning women facing the law.

One of the witnesses, namely Meylani Putri who is the defendant Aris Candra's dating friend is known to have received protection from the LPSK.

Unlike Misri, a friend of the commissioner, Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama, he did not get protection from the LPSK, but only legal assistance.

With the decision of the closed session, the panel of judges asked for an announcement to participants in the trial who did not have an interest to be outside when Misri and Meylani Putri gave testimony at the trial.

"For those who are not interested, please leave," he said.

In this follow-up hearing, the public prosecutor not only presented Misri and Meylani Putri. There are also two witnesses from the police and another one who works as a fast boat captain, Gilang Arif Agustian.

The two police officers, the head of the Central Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit, who was still carrying out his duties as the head of the North Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit, namely Punguan Hutahaean and Surya Irawan, members of the NTB Police Bidpropam.

By presenting five witnesses in the next hearing of the case of the death of Brigadier General Muammad Nurhadi, the public prosecutor for the first time presented three witnesses before the panel of judges, namely Punguan Hutahaean, Surya Irawan, and Gilang Arif Agustian.

Brigadier General Muhammad Nuhadi was allegedly killed while staying with the two defendants and witness Misri with Meylani Putri on Gili Trawangan.

The location of the incident was at the place where Kompol Yogi stayed with Misri at Villa Tekek The Beach House Resort, Gili Trawangan.

The fatal injury that is suspected to have caused the victim's death is a broken base of the tongue and bleeding on the back of the head.
