Ready Umbrella! Jakarta Rain is Expected to Fall Since Friday Afternoon

JAKARTA - Based on weather forecasts data from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) uploaded by the BPBD Jakarta website, Friday, January 9, a number of capital city areas are potentially hit by rain.

The weather conditions show variations in intensity and time in each administrative city area to the Thousand Islands Regency.

Quoted by Antara, at 13.00 WIB, rain is expected to fall evenly in five administrative cities of Jakarta. The Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta regions are expected to experience light rain with a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius (°C).

Meanwhile, the West Jakarta area is predicted to experience moderate rain with a humidity level of 86 percent.

Previously, at 10.00 WIB, light rain was predicted to have started to fall in the West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta areas with a temperature of 28 °C.

At the same time, the Central Jakarta and North Jakarta areas are still cloudy.

Entering the afternoon at 16.00 WIB, the weather conditions in most areas of Jakarta were cloudy again, except in East Jakarta, which is still predicted to experience light rain with a temperature of 26 °C.

At night from 19.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB, all of Jakarta's land areas are expected to be cloudy with temperatures between 24 °C to 25 °C.

For the Thousand Islands area, light rain is predicted to occur from 03.00 WIB to 07.00 WIB.

After being cloudy at 10.00 WIB and 13.00 WIB, light rain is expected to fall in the afternoon at 16.00 WIB and continue until 22.00 WIB with humidity ranging from 81 percent to 85 percent.

In general, the air temperature in the DKI Jakarta region today ranges from 24 °C to 28 °C with air humidity reaching its peak at 95 percent in the morning in several inland areas.
