The Evacuation Of The Bodies Of Police Who Were Attacked By OTK In The Papuan Star Mountains Will Be Carried Out Tomorrow

JAYAPURA - The evacuation of the body of Brigadier Mario Senoi, Head of the Oksamol Sub-Sector Police, Gunung Bintang Regency, Papua, who died of being tortured by an unknown person (OTK) will be carried out tomorrow.

"It is true that at this time the bodies cannot be evacuated due to the unfriendly weather," said Police Chief of the Star Mountains AKBP Cahyo Sukarnito as quoted by Antara, Friday, May 28.

The Oksamol sub-sector in the Oksamol District is located on the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. It takes about a 40 minute flight from Oksibil.

"Hopefully on Saturday (29/5) the weather will be good so that the bodies can be evacuated," said AKBP Cahyo.

Kapores admitted that he did not know which group carried out the attack on the victim.

It was recorded that four Polri members served in the Oksamol Sub-Sector Police, including the victims. However, three other people are currently outside, two of them in Oksibil and one in Jayapura.

AKBP Cahyo explained that the Bintang Mountains Police are in charge of 34 districts with a total membership of 148 people.

Briptu Mario Senoi was attacked by OTK on Thursday, May 27, night until he died. In addition to attacking, OTK also took three organic cents, two of which were SS1 types and one type of revolver.
