JAKARTA - The training helicopter that crashed in Situ Rawa Jemblung Buperta Cibubur, Depok, West Java, Friday afternoon, May 28, was still in the swamp.

"The incident was around 10.15 WIB, suddenly I saw the helicopter tilt and fall into Situ Rawa Jemblung. Until now the plane has not been lifted," said eyewitness Alex who was fishing when the helicopter crashed, reported by Antara.

He said a few minutes after the helicopter crashed, the two people who were in it got out and swam to the edge of Situ Rawa Jemblung and were assisted by residents to get treatment.

"I saw residents helping and taking him by car to the hospital," he said.

Previously, the civilian training plane crashed in the area of the Campground and Graha Wisata or Buperta Cibubur, Harjamukti Village, Cimanggis District, Depok, West Java, Friday.

Head of Public Relations of the Depok Metro Police, Police Commissioner Supriyadi, confirmed that a training plane crashed in the Buperta area.

"The pilot and a flight crew were training safely and were taken to the nearest hospital," he also said.

He said that currently a number of officers had been deployed to the scene, including from the Depok Metro Police.
