Prabowo: Government on the Right Path and God-Fearing

JAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto emphasized that his government's policy direction was on the right path and was guided by God Almighty.

The Head of State made this statement to members of the Red and White Cabinet and their ranks in response to the slander directed by a number of parties who felt their interests were disturbed.

"We are on a clean, holy path, we are on a path that is led by God Almighty," said the President at the Initial Briefing of the Second Volume Retreat, in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, Tuesday, January 6, reported by ANTARA.

In his statement, President Prabowo conveyed his belief that the government he led was committed to defending justice, eradicating poverty, and eliminating hunger as a form of responsibility to the people and the nation.

The President also emphasized the importance of state apparatus in maintaining clean intentions in carrying out the people's mandate.

As long as all policies and government steps are aimed at the interests of the people, the nation, and the safety of the country, according to the President, there is no reason to hesitate or be afraid in facing challenges.

He also reminded that efforts to build a clean and just government are inseparable from the risk of criticism, slander, and attacks from various parties who feel their interests are disturbed.

"We will definitely be insulted, we will definitely be slandered, because there are many forces, not only in our country, many forces are indeed on the side of those who are happy in a world full of corruption, full of fraud, full of fraud. They want to get rich on the suffering of the little people," said the President.

President Prabowo assessed that these various attacks actually strengthened the government's belief that it was on the right track.

Prabowo invited all levels to make mockery and slander as motivation in defending the truth and continue to work for the people's interests.

"So we are ready, if we are hit, we are slandered, we are ridiculed, accept it as a pride. If bad people mock us, it means we are right and we must continue to carry out and defend the truth," he said.
