Prabowo Holds Red and White Cabinet Retreat in Hambalang Tomorrow

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to hold a retreat for the entire Red and White Cabinet at his private residence, Padepokan Garuda Yaksa, Bukit Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Tuesday (6/1).

The retreat, which will last one day, will be attended by all levels of coordinating ministers, ministers, deputy ministers, presidential special envoys, presidential special advisers, and presidential special staff, as well as other state officials.

"Tomorrow (6/1) there will be a retreat," said Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, confirming the retreat agenda in Hambalang when he was met at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday, January 5, reported by ANTARA.

However, Airlangga did not reveal further details about the agendas followed by all members of the Red and White Cabinet at Hambalang tomorrow.

On a separate occasion, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto when contacted by a number of journalists in Jakarta, Monday, also confirmed the agenda of the second volume retreat which will be attended by all members of the Red and White Cabinet.

"The invitation (retreat) is only for tomorrow, for all members of the Cabinet," said Bima Arya when answering a journalist's question.

He explained that the special address code given to the retreat participants was a light brown (khaki) outfit.

"Yes, like (retreat) before, (adadress code) light brown/khaki," said the Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya.

Information circulating among journalists, the retreat held in Hambalang, Tuesday, is scheduled to start at 14.00 WIB.

The first volume retreat was held by President Prabowo Subianto at the Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang, Central Java, on October 25-27, 2024 or less than a week after President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka officially took office.

In the first volume retreat, the participants who are members of the Red and White Cabinet, wore the uniform of the Reserve Command (Komcad), then carried out routines such as sports together, marching, and trekking to Mount Tidar.

Then, for three days, the Red and White Cabinet also followed the guidance session by President Prabowo, then the heads of state institutions also provided briefings.

In total, there were 40 speakers who filled the briefing session in the first volume of the retreat at the Magelang Military Academy.

Some of the speakers, including the National Police Chief, General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, Chairman of the National Economic Council Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian.
