Mazda Car Hits and Runs in Jakbar Finally Hits a Train in Pademangan After Being Chased by Residents

JAKARTA - A unit of a Mazda CX-5 car with the number B 1794 JVH ringsek was hit by the 2510 Locomotive train at the Mangga Dua Square train crossing, Jalan Gunung Sahari direction North, Pademangan, North Jakarta, Friday, December 2, 2025.

The Mazda CX-5 vehicle driven by the man with the initials JC was hit by a train because it went against the flow of the road and deliberately broke through the crossing gate.

Later it was found out that the car was the perpetrator of a hit-and-run who fled from the Tambora area, West Jakarta.

The Mazda CX-5 car had previously been chased by a number of vehicles after hitting 3 motorbikes and pedestrians in the Tanah Sereal area, Tambora, West Jakarta.

"The driver of the Mazda then fled and was chased by other road users until finally the driver of the vehicle ran against the flow and was hit by a train in North Jakarta," said North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit, AKP Edy Wibowo, Friday, December 2, 2026.

As a result of the incident, the black Mazda CX-5 suffered heavy damage.

Then the Mazda CX-5 vehicle was towed to the North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Accident Unit for further legal proceedings.

The case is now handled by the North Jakarta Police Traffic Unit.

"The four-wheeled vehicle (Mazda CX-5) was damaged. The cause of the accident is still under investigation," he said.
