JAKARTA - LRT Jakarta extends its operating hours until 02.00 WIB in the early morning during the New Year's Eve celebration 2026.
Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT LRT Jakarta Sheila Indira Maharshi said this adjustment of service hours was in line with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's efforts to ensure that the New Year's Eve celebrations take place in an orderly, safe and comfortable manner, with the support of reliable public transportation.
"The extension of operating hours until 02.00 WIB is our commitment to supporting community mobility on New Year's Eve, in line with the density of citizen activities in celebrating the new year," he said in a statement, Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
On weekdays, the mass transportation mode operates until 23.00 WIB. Sheila hopes that the Jakarta LRT can become a safe, comfortable, and reliable public transportation option, especially for celebrating the new year.
