Through Difficult Medan, Finally Fuel Was Successfully Supplied to 4 SPBU Bener Meriah Aceh

ACEH - The Bener Meriah region of Aceh has not yet fully recovered, especially the land route due to the flood disaster that hit Aceh Province, North Sumatra, West Sumatra. A number of challenges are faced to supply aid and even fuel oil (bbm).

The supply of fuel in seven tanker cars was dispatched from the Blang Rakal Storage Hub, Friday, December 27 at around 21.00 WIB. The tanker cars arrived gradually at four gas stations in Bener Meriah Regency in the range of 23.30 WIB to 00.30 WIB.

The distribution of fuel was carried out through land routes with Patwal escort by local law enforcement officers, namely two units of trail motorcycles from the Pintu Rime Gayo Military Command, in the middle of the road conditions which are still affected by the disaster.

The tanker car traveled about four hours from Storage Hub Blang Rakal carrying 48 kiloliters of Pertalite fuel and 8 kiloliters of Biosolar. After the distribution process was completed, all the tanker cars returned safely and arrived back at Blang Rakal at 04.30 WIB.

Previously, the supply of fuel to the Bener Meriah and Takengon areas was carried out through the air using Hercules, Cessna, and Air Tractor aircraft. This was done considering that the area was one of the areas with the most severe level of road infrastructure damage due to flooding and landslides in Aceh.
