The Corruption Eradication Commission Denies That IDP Has Ever Been Proposed To Its Employees By KemenPANRB

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron admitted that he had never heard of the concept of the Individual Development Plan (IDP) from KemenPANRB for 75 employees who failed the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK).

He conveyed this in response to the statement by the President's Chief of Staff, Moeldoko, who stated that the IDP concept had been submitted by KemenPANRB. This concept was conveyed in the coordination meeting of the KPK and a number of related ministries and institutions including the State Civil Service Agency (BKN).

"I was present last Tuesday. We never accepted the concept," said Ghufron in a press conference at the Kuningan Persada Red and White House, Thursday, May 27.

In a meeting on Tuesday, May 25 yesterday, Ghufron said that the KPK and related ministry ministries had sat together to discuss the fate of employees based on several assessment indicators from assessors. However, the concept of the IDP was never heard of.

"None of the KemenpanRB have the concept of individual coaching, we discuss with each other to then review these indicators," he said.

As previously reported, Moeldoko emphasized that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has the authority to dismiss 51 employees who did not pass the National Insight Assessment (TWK).

He also denied that President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) order regarding the fate of dozens of anti-graft commission employees had been ignored. This is because a coordination meeting has been held between the KPK and a number of related ministries and institutions, including the State Civil Service Agency (BKN).

Not only that, Moeldoko said, KemenPanRB had suggested that an Individual Development Plan (IDP) be carried out for KPK employees who had not passed TWK.

"That the KPK leadership then took another separate policy, this is the authority and decision of the user institution, in this case the KPK," said Moeldoko in a written statement, Thursday, May 27.

According to him, the government does have the authority to coach anti-graft commission employees. "But not entirely on the internal coaching process at the KPK," he said.
