Cartenz Peace Task Force Seizes 29 Senpi Bullets from KKB

JAYAPURA - The Cartenz Peace Task Force until December has confiscated 29 firearms from the KKB in Papua.

The Head of Public Relations and Peace, Kombes Yusuf Sutejo, said they also seized 4,194 rounds of ammunition, 45 bullet magazines, two explosives, sharp weapons and 93 arrows.

The Cartenz Peace Task Force also secured documents including hoax news carried out by political criminal groups including influencers from the armed criminal group, namely Sebby Sambom.

"Sebby Sambom is not a spokesperson but an influencer because if he is a spokesperson, there is a place for it, otherwise the influencer is not known where he is and can be done anywhere so that his party states that the person concerned is only an influencer who is pro KKB," said Sutejo as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, December 23.

Together with the TNI, the Task Force also destroyed 14 KKB headquarters and enforced the law.

When enforcing the law, 45 KKB members were arrested, 20 of whom have been named as suspects.

"It is recorded that 15 KKB were disabled and died," he said, adding that the operational area of the Cartenz Peace Task Force was spread across 11 areas in three provinces in Papua.

The 11 districts include Jayapura, Mimika, Deiyai, Dogiyai, Yahukimo, Nduga, Jayawijaya, Lanny Jaya, Paniai, Puncak, and Pegunungan Bintang Regency.
