JAKARTA - This morning, Jakarta was shocked by an explosion in the National Monument (Monas) area. As a result, two soldiers were injured in the arms and thighs. Although the police said that the explosion came from a smoke grenade, its origin is not yet known.

Various allegations emerged, ranging from the smoke grenade that was thrown to the location where it was finally found. It's just that, there is no information related to this.

The emergence of allegations is not without reason. The location which is only about 4 meters away is the reason. However, to prove it takes quite a long time.

To thoroughly investigate the incident, a team from the Bomb Squadter (Jibom), Inafis and the Forensic Laboratory (Labfor) immediately organized a case scene. The goal is to find the remnants of the explosion and new clues.

A number of officers in black clothes and fully armed were seen at the scene. Some of them, continued to set their sights on the ground. To be sure, looking for anything related to explosions.

The wrinkles on the face were clearly visible, several officers carefully combed the scene. The blood spots are still visible. However, the remains of the smoke grenades were no longer visible.

However, the Head of Police for Metro Jaya Inspector General Pol Gatot Eddy had said that the smoke grenade could be held by any unit. This was spoken when he was asked about whether there was an increase in security in ring 1 after the explosion.

"The smoke grenade can be held by anyone like the Dalmas (Community Control Unit) like that," he said.
