JAKARTA - The Indonesian Navy received the KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321 which had just completed its construction by the Italian shipyard, Fincantieri.
The handover was attended directly by the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) Admiral Muhammad Ali at the Fincantieri shipyard, Muggiano, Italy, Monday, December 22.
The presence of KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321 is part of the TNI AL's efforts to modernize alutsista to maintain the Indonesian maritime territory.

In the KRI reception ceremony, the inauguration of the KRI Commander was held on the ship's deck. Rear Admiral (P) Kurniawan Koes Atmadja was confirmed as the first Commander of KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321.
After the inauguration of the KRI commander, the ship will sail to Indonesia and is expected to arrive in early January 2026.
To note, this KRI has the same specifications as the KRI Brawijaya-321 which was previously produced by Fincantieri for the Indonesian Navy and has been in Koarmada II for the past few months.
