Police Secure 21 People Suspected Of Sympathizer Rizieq Shihab In PN Jaktim, Claiming To Be Told By Someone

JAKARTA - Police have secured 21 people suspected of being Rizieq Shihab sympathizers. They were secured in the vicinity of the East Jakarta District Court since Wednesday, May 26, night.

"Last night at 21.30 WIB someone had come to the East Jakarta Court and we have managed to secure it for further examination," East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Erwin Kurniawan told reporters on Thursday, May 27.

Of the dozens of people, erwin continued, as a large minor. Currently, they are still undergoing intensive examination.

"21 people, who are under 17 years old there are 15 people and 6 adults, still conducted intesif examinations at the East Jakarta Police," he said.

In fact, based on a temporary examination, they were present to the East Jakarta District Court on the orders of someone.

"On the instructions of a person to attend, his confession for such activities of study or such, but his location in PN East Jakarta," he said.

Previously reported, as many as 2,300 personnel for the security of the trial rizieq Shihab for alleged violations of health protocols (prokes) in Petamburan and Megamendung. Thousands of personnel were alerted at some point.

"The number of personnel today is doubled to 2,300 perseonel consisting of traffic units, Brimob, also from the closed ones of Satpol PP and Dishub. We are also backed by Mr. Dandim East Jakarta in order to add troops from the TNI elements," said Erwin.
