Seskab Teddy Brings Backpack to Share Toys, Snacks for Aceh Children

JAKARTA - Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya appeared to distribute toys and snacks for children affected by the flash flood disaster in Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh.

Reported by ANTARA, when accompanying President Prabowo Subianto to review a number of disaster-affected locations in Aceh, Friday, December 12, the Presidential Secretariat's Teddy took out the toys and snacks from the black backpack he always carried.

Based on the video uploaded from the official account @sekretariat.kabinet, Saturday, the Cabinet Secretary Teddy was seen carrying "supplies" in his backpack.

When President Prabowo greeted residents at the Aceh Tamiang Bridge evacuation post, it was seen that the Seskab Teddy squatted to approach the children of the disaster victims.

Teddy shared a colored Rubik's cube and showed how to play it to the children.

In another corner of the evacuation post, Teddy then took out a candy from his backpack to give to a little girl being carried by her father.

He also greeted the residents while giving encouragement to the disaster victims.

Meanwhile, Aceh Tamiang Regency is the first point in the series of working visits by President Prabowo to review three disaster-affected locations in Aceh Province on Friday (12/12).

"I came according to my promise, at that time Tamiang was still cut off, yes. Cut off. When did it break through? How many days ago? A week ago, yes. I promised to see him," said the President.

Upon arrival at the evacuation post, President Prabowo was greeted with enthusiasm by the children who greeted him with the song, "Welcome, sir."

Afterwards, President Prabowo headed to a health post that was providing medical services to affected residents.

To the residents who are undergoing treatment, the President also asked about the complaints felt and prayed that the residents could be healthy again.

Not only that, the Head of State also had a dialogue with the health workers who were on duty.

After reviewing the health post, the President then reviewed the residential area of residents under the bridge affected by the disaster.

From this point, President Prabowo saw directly the houses of residents who suffered damage with thick mud deposits. Not only that, pieces of wood, building debris, and household items that were swept away by the water flow were also visible.

In the refugee tent, the Head of State was warmly greeted by children who approached the President to meet and shake hands. The President also responded to the warmth of the children by hugging, carrying, and even kissing the children's foreheads.
