Following up on the report, eight rescuers were dispatched and arrived at the location at 18.55 WIB to search. The search was temporarily stopped because it was late at night and then continued on Saturday.
"With the discovery of the victim in a dead state, the SAR operation against the drifting victim was declared closed. All elements involved were returned to their respective units and we thank all the joint SAR teams and the community who have helped the search process," said Djuniato.
