21 Locations For The Government's Implementation Of Relocation For Aceh Flood Victims In Sumatra, Here's The List

The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) has prepared 21 relocation land locations for residents affected by flooding in three provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

This effort was carried out together with the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), BPBD, and local governments to ensure the location of the relocation is safe and habitable.

"We have studied together with the regional task force, BNPB, BPBD, and local governments to identify land potential. Aceh has eight locations, North Sumatra eight, and West Sumatra five," said PKP Minister Maruarar Sirait in his statement, Thursday 11 December.

The government emphasized that location selection takes into account geological security, land legality, and access to public facilities such as schools, markets, and health services.

Here are the details of 21 relocation locations

Aceh Province:1. Tanjong Ceungai Village, North Aceh - 0.75 hectares (ha), 85 units, belonging to the Regional Government, were verified. 2. Blang Pandak Village, Pidie - 1.2 ha, 340 units, verified. 3. Pohroh village, Pidie Jaya - 1-2 ha, 227 units, verified.4. Bireuen Regency - village treasury land, identification stage. 5. Bukit Ratu Village - Kuruk 2 River, Aceh - 9 ha, 1,022 units, belonging to PT Timbang Langsa, verified.6. Cot Girek Kandang, Lhokseumawe - 2.6 ha, 295 units, verified.7. Sakti, Lhokseumawe - 4 ha, 454 units, verified.8. Langsa City - 50 ha, 568 units, verified.

North Sumatra Province:1. Pinangsori, Central Tapanuli - 7-9 ha, 715 units, verified.2. Hapesong Plantation, South Tapanuli - 4.2 ha, 86 units, belonging to PTPN IV, verified.3. Marpinggan Plantation, South Tapanuli - 9 ha, 186 units, belonging to PTPN IV, verified.4. Sibalga Village, North Tapanuli - 1 ha, 79 units, belonged to the Plantation Service, verified.5. Dolok Nauli village, North Tapanuli - 4.9 ha, 389 units, belonging to the Regency Government, verified.6. Jalan Guma, Sibolga - 0.03 ha, 568 units, verified.7. Huta Barangan, North Sibolga 0.22 ha, 25 units, verified.8. Silalang Village Beach, Sibolga Hilir - 0.69 ha, 51 units, verified.

West Sumatra Province:1. Balai Gadang, Koto Tangah, Padang - 2.98 ha, 173 units, verified. 2. Aie Pacah, Koto Tangah, Padang - 0.5 ha, 36 units, verified.3. Nagari Rambatan, Rambatan - 2.02 ha, 70 units, verification process.4. Tanah Hitam, Padang Panjang Barat - 0.33 ha, 36 units, verification process.5. Tanjung Sani village, Tanjung Raya - 2 ha, 290 units, verification process.

Efforts to provide 21 relocation locations are intended so that disaster victims in the three provinces can immediately occupy safe, decent, and close housing with social activity centers and public services. The government ensures that the land verification and preparation process is carried out as quickly as possible so that residential development can begin immediately.
