Arriving At The KPK Office, The Regent Of Central Lampung Was Immediately Intensively Examined

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is now conducting an intensive examination of parties who were arrested in a hand arrest operation (OTT). One of them is the Regent of Central Lampung Ardito Wijaya who arrived at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Wednesday night.

"Currently the team is still conducting intensive examinations of the arrested parties, one of which is the Regent of Central Lampung," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, December 10 evening.

Apart from Ardito, Budi explained, there were four other people who were also questioned. However, he has not specified who the parties are being arrested for.

"We will convey the complete chronology and construction of the case in a press conference tomorrow on Thursday, December 11," he said.

Ardito arrived at the KPK office at around 20.10 WIB. He wore a dark patterned jacket and his head was wearing a hat.

Ardito was seen being escorted by a number of KPK security officers. He also brought a dark blue suitcase.

"Alhamdulillah, he is healthy," Ardito told reporters at the location.

As previously reported, the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, confirmed that his party had arrested Ardito in the OTT event since the beginning of the week. It is suspected that money had been given.
