SEMARANG - The Indonesian Law Enforcement Supervisory and Escort Agency (LP3HI) filed a pretrial against the Central Java Regional Police and the Semarang Polrestabes on suspicion of terminating the investigation into the murder of the Semarang City Government ASN, Iwan Budi Paulus, which occurred in 2022.

After the trial, LP3HI attorney Boyamin Saiman regretted the absence of power from the two respondents. In fact, there has been about three weeks since the lawsuit was registered.
He said in the lawsuit that was submitted, the judge asked the judges to decide that the respondents complete an investigation into the case of Iwan Budi Paulus' death, who is suspected of being the victim of the murder.
"Through this lawsuit, we want to ask for clarity from the Central Java Police and Semarang Police on the case that has stalled for years," he said.
