Searching Indramayu Education And Culture Office, The Prosecutor's Office Investigates Allegations Of Corruption In The 2023 PKBM Assistance

The Prosecutor's Office searched the Indramayu Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) investigating allegations of corruption in the assistance of the Center for Community Learning Activities (PKBM) for Fiscal Year 2023.

Head of Intelligence Section of the Attorney General's Office, Indramayu Mulyanto, said the search was carried out on Thursday, December 4 in the room of the head of the PAUD and Non-formal Education (PNF) Disdikbud Indramayu, based on Investigation Order Number 05/M.2.21/Fd.1/08/2024.

In addition to the PNF PAUD Head's room, he said, the investigating team from the Indramayu Kejari also searched the archives and staff spaces in the same field.

He said the search carried out by the investigative team was a follow-up to the investigation into the alleged corruption case which had been running since August 2024.

According to Mulyanto, during the search, the team confiscated a number of items allegedly related to the case.

"Investigators have confiscated documents and electronic goods, which are related to the alleged corruption crime," he said in his statement in Indramayu, Friday, which was confiscated by Antara.

He emphasized that the findings would be analyzed to strengthen the evidence of criminal elements in the case.

In addition, he said, the investigative team had examined around 60 witnesses, including the Head of Disdikbud Indramayu Caridin who was questioned in November 2025.

Previously, the Indramayu Kejari found indications of data manipulation in the submission of PKBM assistance sent to the relevant ministries.

He said the mode detected was the addition of the number of students to meet the requirements for submitting assistance.

Investigators, he continued, also found allegations of using student data from formal schools, both elementary and junior high school levels by a number of PKBM.

"Some of the PKMBs are suspected of having adopted data from formal schools, from elementary to junior high school," he said.
