Head of the Cisumdawu Toll Road PJR Unit, Ipda Deny Ruchyat, said the traffic accident occurred at the KM 183-184 location from Bandung to Cirebon at around 11.00 WIB.

"The chronology of the accident itself occurred around KM 183+800 meters at around 11.00 WIB and it is suspected that the Toyota Zenix driver was sleepy," he said in Sumedang, Wednesday, as reported by Antara.

Deny added that the accident involved a Toyota Zenix with police number B 2941 UYX with the Toyota Innova D 1283 HM.

Furthermore, he added that the accident caused two people to be injured and had to be taken to Cimalaka Hospital, Sumedang.

"In the vehicle there were a total of five passengers and two of them were injured, so they were taken to the Cimalaka Hospital," he said.

He said that now the injured victims had been allowed to go home after receiving medical treatment and were declared in stable condition by a team of doctors.

Meanwhile, according to local witness Rina (43), she heard a loud bang from the toll road and saw a Toyota Innova minibus overturned and Toyota Zenix behind it was heavily damaged on the front.

"I didn't see what happened right away, but I heard his voice immediately came out and saw that the (Innova) vehicle had capsized and the vehicle behind it was heavily damaged," he said.
