Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari, said the number of victims was obtained based on data from BPBD Agam as of Friday (28/11) at 20.00 WIB, the victims who died were spread across five sub-districts.
"In Palembayan District, there were 27 victims, consisting of 21 people who have been identified and six others are still waiting for identification. He revealed that other victims who died in Palembayan District were also found in several villages, namely seven people in Tangah Village, nine people in East Tangah Village, and 17 people in Subarang Ala whose identities had all been verified by officers.
Meanwhile, Malalak District reported 10 victims who died, followed by Tanjung Raya District two victims, Palupuh one victim, and Matur District one victim. All victims in the area have been identified.
