Prabowo Calls MBG Enjoyed 44 Million People, Production Of 2 Billion Portions

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto claims that one of the priority programs, Free Nutrition Food (MBG), has been enjoyed by 44 million recipients, and produces more than 2 billion servings of food. In his remarks at the Annual Meeting of Bank Indonesia (PTBI) at the Bank Indonesia Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday night, the President again emphasized that MBG recipients consist of pregnant women, toddlers and school students. "We have achieved if I'm not mistaken today more than 44 million beneficiaries of our children throughout Indonesia, pregnant women, early childhood children," Prabowo said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 29. The President said that with that total beneficiary, at least 2 billion servings of food were produced and presented by the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG). This amount is much larger than the total realization originally projected of 1.8 billion servings. "Every day we receive food, it has been 2 billion 'meals', 2 billion meals have been produced and we have conveyed to the beneficiaries. I think this is quite a proud achievement," Prabowo said. In his speech, Prabowo told himself that he was greatly assisted by key figures in the Indonesian economy. Prabowo also mentioned the list of Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, who were also present at the meeting. The President thanked the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for overseeing the program. According to Prabowo, this could happen because of synergy and good cooperation. "I thank you, I got a good fate, I was assisted by the great people who helped me. So that we achieve this is the result of all of us," said the President.
