TGUPP DKI Alvin Wijaya Resigns, DPRD Wonder

JAKARTA - Member of the Governor's Team for The Acceleration of Development (TGUPP) DKI Alvin Wijaya resigned from his position.

This is justified by the Head of Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) DKI Nasrudin Djoko Surjono.

"Yes, (Alvin) resigned. The period of April 1 has been dismissed," Nasruddin said when confirmed, Monday, May 24.

Separately, Deputy Head of Bappeda DKI Jakarta Tri Indrawan said alvin's resignation was followed up by the issuance of Governor Decree 632 year 2021.

However, Tri is reluctant to explain why Alvin resigned. "As soon as he resigned, he did not have to give a reason for his resignation. It's just that he resigned to the position," Tri said in a meeting with the Commission A dprd DKI.

This makes the Member of Commission A dprd DKI August Hamonangan astonished. "so what Bapeda received was just resigning for no reason?," asked August.

Tri then gives a normative answer. He said there are four reasons why TGUPP quits its duties are illness, death, suspected conviction, and resignation.

"That's not the case. With his resignation letter was received by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta to step down from his post," explained Tri.

Before closing the meeting, Chairman of Commission A dprd DKI Jakarta Mujiono admitted that he was not sure about Tri's answer. He believes TGUPP members were deliberately dismissed because there was a case that ensnared him.

"The conclusion in this meeting, we can not be sure of the answer. There must be a problem so that the TGUPP person is dismissed," he added.
