President Trump Says US Plans To Temporarily Stop Migration From All Third World Countries

JAKARTA - President Donald Trump said on Thursday his administration would seek to "permanently suspend" migration from all "Third World Countries" so that the United States system could fully recover.

President Trump did not name any country or explain what it meant by a third world country or "permanently suspend".

However, he simply said the plan would include cases approved under the administration of former President Joe Biden.

"I will temporarily suspend permanent migration from all Third-World Countries so that the US system can fully recover, stopping all millions of Biden's illegal receptions, including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden's Autopen, and deporting anyone who is not a net asset to the United States," he said on Truth Social's social media platform. , reported Al Arabiya from Reuters November 28.

President Trump also said he would end all federal benefits and subsidies for "non-citizens", adding he would "denaturize migrants that undermine domestic calm" and deport any foreign nationals deemed a public burden, security risks, or "unsuitable to Western civilization."

Meanwhile, the White House and US Citizenship and Immigration Services did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

President Trump's comments not long after the death of a National Guard member who was shot near the White House, in an attack that investigators said was carried out by an Afghan national.

The suspected shooter was granted asylum this year under the Trump Administration, according to a US Government document seen by Reuters.

Earlier, officials from the Department of Homeland Security said the Trump Administration had ordered a thorough review of asylum cases approved under the Biden Administration and Green Cards issued to citizens from 19 countries.

US Citizenship and Immigration Services on Wednesday suspended processing of all immigration requests related to Afghan citizens indefinitely.

"These goals will be pursued with the aim of achieving a significant reduction in the illegal and disturbing population," said President Trump.
