JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) will establish a special team to investigate alleged human rights violations in the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK). The team was formed after Novel Baswedan et al submitted a report.

"We received this complaint, we will form a team under monitoring and investigation," Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam said at a conference at his office, Jalan Latuharhary, Central Jakarta, Monday, May 24.

Completing Anam's statement, Komnas HAM Chairman Ahmad Taufan Damanik said the team will be led by two commissioners, Choirul Anam and Sandrayati Moniaga.

"For us this complaint is an important part for all elements of the nation to ensure first that efforts to eradicate corruption become a big agenda of our country, we must be serious about it," he said.

"Second, we want to ensure that every step of the policy of state institutions in Indonesia without exception must meet human rights standards and norms. We will test the degree of human rights compliance that is the principle and norm of our country's life," taufan added.
