2 Mandalika MotoGP VIP Vehicle Fake Sticker Orderers Become New Suspects

JAKARTA - Ordering fake stickers for access to VIP-catch vehicle users at the 2025 MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara, is now a suspect.

The Head of the Certain Crime Unit of the Mataram Police Satreskrim, Ipda Imamul Ahyar, confirmed that there was an additional suspect in the case that had previously named the sticker maker with the initials MSU as a suspect.

"Yes, there are two more people named as suspects," he said in Mataram, Tuesday, as reported by Antara.

The two additional suspects had the initials AR and AM. They are known to live in Mataram City.

Ahyar also confirmed that the two new suspects had a significant role. They are the orderer or the person who ordered the MSU suspect to make fake stickers with at least 100 sheets.

The suspects AR and AM previously had witness status in the case file belonging to the MSU suspect. The police also received criminal indications that led to them from the results of the investigation of the MSU suspect.

Due to the determination of this additional suspect, Ahyar revealed that his party had not yet taken steps to detain him on the grounds that AR and AM were investigated as suspects, only today can be carried out.

Regarding the criminal charges applied in determining AR and AM as suspects, the police have not explained further.

"Be patient, we are still checking," he said.

The Mataram Police previously arrested MSU on October 7, 2025, for the follow-up to the report of the 2025 IndonesiaGP (ITDC-MGPA) organizing committee team which found the circulation of fake stickers on spectator vehicles.

The provider ensures that the sticker is fake based on further examination by the ITDC-MGPA team in the field. There are differences from the type of hologram on the sticker made by MSU.

For this forgery, the ITDC-MGPA team claimed to have suffered a loss of at least Rp. 1 billion.

From a series of investigations, the suspect MSU admitted to making fake stickers at the request of the two additional suspects with a paid motivation of Rp50 per mother per sticker.

MSU was also revealed to have launched its action since 2024. That year, he scored at least 100 stickers with all the prints sold by the two additional suspects.
