5 Chinese Residents Died In Accident In Bali, Police Check Minibus Driver

Buleleng Police, Bali, examined a minibus driver of Toyota Hiace named Arif Al Akbar (39) who had a single accident. Five Chinese people died, while 8 others were slightly injured.

"The temporary driver has been secured at the Buleleng Police Traffic Unit office," said Head of Buleleng Traffic Police AKP Bachtiar Arifin, Friday, November 14.

"For the time being, it's just an initial examination. Further investigations will be carried out," he said.

The accident occurred on Jalan Singaraja -Denpasar KM 7,700 meters in the Banjar area of the Prabukula Service, Padang Bulia Village, Buleleng, and the vehicle carrying the Toyota Hiace with plate number N 7605 TA.

"Experiencing out of control (OC)," said AKPBachtiar, Friday, November 14.

In the accident, 5 foreigners from China died and 8 others suffered minor injuries.

"Five people died, and eight people were injured," he added.

"Regarding the traffic accident, further investigation is still being carried out," said AKP Bachtiar.

The identities of the passengers who suffered minor injuries and were all treated at Karya Dharma Husada Hospital, Singaraja, Buleleng, namely
