Usut Leaks 297 Million Data Of Indonesian Citizens, Police Will Clarify The President Of BPJS

JAKARTA - The national police will call the President Director of BPJS regarding the case of 279 million indonesians who were leaked and traded. The request for information is planned to take place on Monday, May 24.

"I call for clarification (on) Monday, Director of BPJS Health," Director of Cyber Crime Bareskrim Polri, Brig. Gen. Slamet Uliandi told reporters, Friday, May 21.

In addition to the examination plan, slamet continued, the National Police has also created a team to investigate the case. The goal is to help the relevant agencies resolve the matter.

"Kabareskrim has formed a team," he said.

Previously, the National Police confirmed that it will investigate the issue of 279 million indonesians' data that was leaked and traded. The case is handled by the Directorate of CyberCrime.

"Since the rolling issue I have ordered Dirtipidsiber to conduct an investigation into this matter," Kabareskrim Polri Komjen Agus Andrianto told VOI, Friday, May 21.

The initial stage is done by completing the administrative matters. When completed, the investigation process will be conducted immediately.

"It is being prepared mindik (administrative investigation) for the legality of the implementation of members in the field," he said.

The data leak began to be known after the account @ndagels tweeted at least 279 million data belonging to Indonesian citizens (WNI) sold by hackers. Data leak includes not only Residence Number (NIK) but also status of life or death up to salary.
