SALATIGA - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka participated in the TikTok live broadcast while visiting the local DTech-Engineering manufacturing factory in Salatiga, Central Java, Friday, November 7.

During the visit, Gibran, who wore a helmet and work safety vest, received a direct explanation of the downstream activities carried out by the company.

DTech-Engineering is a company initiated by two local youths and is engaged in bauxite sand processing into end products such as automotive spare parts to train passenger seat components (trainsets).

While reviewing the production area, Gibran found that one corner of the factory was promoting online through TikTok's live broadcast. He also spontaneously participated in the promotional activity while showing original Indonesian-made motorcycle parts towards the camera.

"Buy the real one, not the fake one. This is originally from here, the original ARM brand, native made in Indonesia, the work of the nation's children, native Salatiga," said Gibran to netizens who watched the live broadcast quoted from Antara.

The TikTok host who hosted the event from the Xtreme Youth Zone (XYZ) channel then welcomed Gibran's presence with a rhyme that made the atmosphere more relaxed.

In addition to interacting in live broadcasts, Gibran also had time to try out the train passenger seats produced by DTech-Engineering which was known to be an order from PT Industri Kereta Api (INKA).

DTech-Engineering itself is a manufacturing and design industry company that has been established since 2020 in Salatiga. The company focuses on making motorcycle accessories and parts, and has penetrated international markets in Southeast Asia such as Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
