Child Molestation Due To Jealousy, Father In Tangsel Threatened 5 Years In Prison

JAKARTA - Police have arrested a man with the initials WH (35) who went viral molesting his biological daughter under the Child Protection Act. As a resulting, he faces up to five years in prison.

"We apply Article 80 of the Child Protection Act with the threat of 5 years in prison plus one-third of the criminal threat," said South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Iman Imanuddin, Thursday, May 20.

For now, iman said, the suspect is still under intensive examination. Because, based on the results of the interim examination he has twice committed persecution.

"Currently the suspect is in the process of examining the South Tangerang Police Satreskrim," iman said.

Previously reported, the man with the initials WH (35) who went viral on social media for molesting his biological daughter was finally arrested. Based on the examination, the motive behind his actions was due to blind jealousy.

"The motive is based on the results of the examination of jealousy so vent to the child," said Iman.

Jealousy suspect, continued Iman, because manta his wife and the mother of the victim is called to have a lover. Supposedly, suspects don't need to be jealous because they're officially divorced.

"He is divorced, but he is jealous because his ex-wife already has a partner again. That's why it's vented to his son," he said.
