Uya Kuya's Response After Being Reactivated As A Member Of The DPR: MKD Is Very Professional And Objective

JAKARTA - Surya Utama alias Uya Kuya responded to the DPR MKD's decision which stated that he had not violated the code of ethics for his actions dancing at the MPR annual session and the session with the DPR-DPD. Uya Kuya has also been reactivated as a member of the DPR from the PAN faction starting today.

Uya admitted that she accepted the MKD decision. He considered that MKD had worked objectively and professionally as an AKD in charge of maintaining the dignity of the DPR.

"Yes, we respect the decision from the MKD and I accept it and as it was seen earlier. I can't comment on anything else, it's just like we respect it and the MKD is certainly very professional. Very objective and what is needed is in accordance with the evidence and also expert witnesses who have provided information," said Uya Kuya at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 5.

Uya said that this incident would be a lesson in the future. "Yes, surely all humans must learn," he said.

Uya was reluctant to comment further on the Constitutional Court's decision, especially commenting on the record of the fraction of Eko Hendro Purnomo alias Eko Patrio who was sanctioned for being inactive for four months for violating the code of ethics. Uya submitted the verdict to the Party Court at the PAN DPP.

"Yes, it was handed over to the Party Court. That's all, I can't say much," he said.

Uya also admitted that she did not know whether she immediately served as a member of the council today, because she had not coordinated with the factions.

"Yes, I don't know, I just got out here, so before I found out before coordinating anything. I also don't know anything," he said.

Previously, the DPR MKD decided to reactivate the member of the PAN faction, Surya Ula Kuya, as a member of the DPR. Uya is considered not to violate the code of ethics when dancing on the MPR's annual afternoon and in a joint session with the DPR-DPD RI because there is no information regarding the increase in salaries and allowances for members of the DPR.

"To declare the defendant three, the main Surya has not been proven to have violated the code of ethics. And stating that the third defendant, Surya, has been activated as a member of the DPR since this decision was read out," said Deputy Chairman of the DPR MKD Adang Daradjatun.
