Coordinating Minister Muhaimin Promises Heads Of Poor Families To Be Trained As Security Guards To Cleaning Officers

Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin stated that the head of the extreme poor family will be given job training as an effort to eliminate extreme poverty by 2026.

"The President has agreed, the heads of extreme poor families will be trained for a maximum of four months for those interested in working as security guards, agricultural staff, and cleaning services (cleaning officers). After the training, they will be immediately absorbed by the work provider," said Cak Imin in Jakarta, Wednesday, quoted by Antara.

Muhaimin said that in addition to providing training, efforts to eradicate extreme poverty will also be carried out with the government providing land for agrarian reform objects to extreme poor families.

The land is expected to be a means of empowerment so that the extreme poor in the agricultural sector become independent by managing land productively.

Cak Imin stated that the program is clear evidence of changes in the paradigm of poverty alleviation under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto.
