East Lombok Satpol PP Ordered Street Vendors, Selong And Pancor Will Be 'transformed' Into A Clean City

The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, has brought order to street vendors (PKL) in the Selong City and Pancor areas to create a clean, safe and comfortable environment for the community.

"The Pancor and Selong areas will be arranged so that they don't look chaotic, especially the arrangement of the sidewalk so that it returns to its proper function," said Head of the East Lombok Regency Satpol PP Salmun Rahman, in East Lombok, Antara, Monday, November 3.

Control is carried out in stages by starting with socialization to traders who occupy the locations to be arranged.

"Before being moved, we have prepared a relocation place for street vendors, such as in public open spaces (RTP)," he said.

Salmun added that the relocation location was considered quite strategic and not far from its original place. His party will also continue to carry out patrols while providing education to traders to comply with applicable regulations.

In addition to controlling street vendors, Satpol PP will also take action against buskers and illegal parking that often disturbs public order.

"This control is to provide a sense of security and comfort for the people in Selong City and Pancor, so that the area can be orderly and comfortable for all," he said.

In this arrangement effort, Satpol PP does not work alone. Control is carried out with a number of relevant agencies, such as the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), the Transportation Service, as well as the East Lombok Regency Cooperatives and MSMEs Service.
