Police Say Onad Is Still Being Investigated As A Victim, Arrest Drug Suppliers In Sunter

Head of Public Relations of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Wisnu, revealed that prior to the arrest of musician Onadio Leonardo alias Onad, the authorities first arrested a narcotics supplier with the initials KR in the Sunter area, North Jakarta. KR is known as the party who handed over illicit goods to Onad.

According to Wisnu, from KR's hands, the police confiscated a number of evidences in the form of ecstasy and methamphetamine in used plastic clips, as well as suction devices suspected of using drugs.

"For the evidence obtained, including ecstasy and methamphetamine in plastic clips. Then suction devices such as bongs and pipettes, as well as modified matches," he explained.

After securing KR, the police then developed the case and arrested Onad in the East Ciputra area, South Tangerang. In fact, when he was arrested, Onad was working at home with his wife.

"After the development, just headed to OL (Onad). His wife was also secured, but the urine test results were negative, so she was sent home," he said.

From the results of the initial examination, Onad's urine tested positive for marijuana and ecstasy. However, the police are still investigating when the former Killing Me Inside vocalist took drugs.

In fact, related to the motive for using drugs by Onad.

"We have not received further information because we are still waiting for the results of the investigator's investigation," he said.

Although he has been questioned twice for 24 hours, Onadio's legal status has not been named a suspect. The police assessed that so far Onad is still in a position as a victim of narcotics abuse.

"For the determination, if according to the initial information I got, this OL is a victim of narcotics," he said.

Wisnu added, during the examination Onad admitted that he was sorry for his actions. Meanwhile, investigators are still investigating where the supplier of KR obtained the illicit goods.
