Traffic Engineering During BLACKPINK Concerts Implemented Situational

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya together with the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service will carry out situational traffic engineering ahead of the South Koreangirl band concert BLACKPINK at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) on Saturday and Sunday (2/11).

"Traffic regulation around the Senayan area, especially in FX Sudirman, West Plaza, TVRI, Ladokgi, and Semanggi," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, November 1.

He said the parking of the officer's vehicle was directed to the Indonesia Arena and Basketball Hall as well as other parking bags.

"People are advised to use public transportation to reduce congestion," said Budi.

Budi continued the message from the Metro Jay Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri who appealed and invited all spectators and the public to work together to "Keep Jakarta" so that it remains safe, orderly, and comfortable during the concert.

"Come early, obey the officers' directions, and avoid bringing prohibited items. Let's show that Jakarta residents and music fans are orderly, friendly, and cultured people. By mutual respect and maintaining order, we contribute to keeping Jakarta safe and conducive," said Budi.

Polda Metro Jaya deployed 1,500 personnel to secure the girl band concert from South Korea BLACKPINK which was held on Saturday and Sunday (2/11) at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK), Jakarta.

"Prepared 1,500 personnel, with details, Polda Metro Jaya as many as 1,243 personnel, Polres Metro Central Jakarta 132 personnel, TNI (BKO) 35 personnel and the DKI Regional Government 90 personnel," said Kombes Budi.

BLACKPINK returned to Jakarta and enlivened the magnificent stage at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) on November 1, 2025.

The concert, titled '2025 World Tour in Jakarta', became one of the largest international music agendas in the country this year.
