The West Java Health Office (Dinkes) said that there were 230 victims of poisoning suspected of having Free Nutrition (MBG) in West Bandung Regency (KBB), which as of Thursday morning had been handled.

The head of the West Java Health Office, Vini Adiani Dewi, said that his party continues to monitor the case and has coordinated with the KBB Health Office.

"We continue to coordinate and monitor with the local Health Office. And so far everything has been handled there," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 30.

Meanwhile, Acting Head of the KBB Lia Health Office, Nurliana Sukandar, stated that the victims of poisoning came from SDN 2 Cibodas, SDN Buahbatu, SMPN 4 Lembang, and SMK Putra Nasional Cibodas.

Currently most of the victims have returned to their respective homes and a small number are still being treated at the emergency handling post.

Several places that had become emergency handling posts were the Cibodas Health Center, Sespim Clinic, Cibodas Village Command Post, and Lembang Hospital.

Cibodas Village Secretary, Yuyu Wahyu, said that until now there are still 10 children being treated at the health post.

According to him, most patients experience symptoms of nausea, dizziness, and stomach pain. Several children who had previously returned from the hospital came back to the post because their body condition dropped again.

Yuyu said 10 patients who are currently being treated at the post are new patients who come in the morning.

"Last night at around 02.30 WIB there were only two people left, but this morning it increased again to 10 patients," he said.

The alleged poisoning from MBG occurred in four schools in KBB on Tuesday (28/10). They experienced nausea and vomiting after eating the MBG menu.

The MBG dishes consumed by the victims included rice, rolade, vegetables, and fruits.
