Ukrainian Drone Targets Moscow For Two Days In A Row

JAKARTA - Ukraine is targeting Moscow with drone attacks for the second night in a row.

Russia's Defense Ministry said its air defense unit destroyed 17 Ukrainian drones overnight, including one flying towards Moscow and 13 over the Kaluga region bordering Moscow's northeast.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Telegram emergency services were sent to the crash site of a drone bound for Moscow.

There were no reports of damage, but Russia rarely disclosed the full-scale impact of Ukrainian attacks on its territory unless it involved civilians or civilian objects.

Reported by Reuters on Tuesday, October 28, Russian air defense units destroyed three remaining unmanned aircraft in the Bryansk region, which borders Ukraine west and the Kaluga region to the northeast.

Alexander Bogomaz, governor of Bryansk region, said a civilian was hospitalized as a result of the attack.

Both sides have denied targeting civilians, but thousands of people have died in the conflict, mostly Ukrainians.
