JAKARTA - The Executive Director of Implementing the Pre-Employment Card Program, Denni Puspa Purbasari, asked people who have registered in the Pre-employment Card to immediately use the training program.

In the training program, each participant gets an allowance of IDR 1 million. Denni reminded that participants took the time to take part in this training. This is because the training money will be forfeited on December 31.

"Please, people who have received this pre-employment card to choose and compare various training packages on the eight digital platforms. Don't forget, this Rp1 million will expire on December 31," Denni said in a press conference at Graha BNPB, East Jakarta, Tuesday. , 28 April.

Since it was opened on April 11 until today, there have been 8.4 million applicants who have filled in their personal data on the site www.prakerja.go.id. For the first batch, 168 thousand participants have received training money and incentives.

The amount of money for the use of the Pre-Work Card is IDR 3,550,000. The details, Rp1 million represent training costs, incentives totaling Rp2.4 million, and post-survey incentives (feedback) of Rp150 thousand.

"As many as 168 thousand people have received transfers from the government. Money sourced from the APBN has entered their virtual accounts," said Denni.

Participants who have received Pre-Employment Card program money can purchase a training platform with a maximum of 7 modules in stages. After completing the training, they can claim incentives. Incentives are given Rp. 600 thousand per month for four months.

"For four months, the incentive is transferred to the bank account or digital account of each participant. The incentive can be used for anything. To buy rice, pay for electricity, buy pulses, to buy food, it is okay," he said.

In fact, President Joko Widodo's initial pre-employment card target was the workforce. However, currently Indonesia is being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the current Pre-Work Card program targets are workers, job seekers, and small and micro business actors who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The stages, applicants for the Pre-Employment Card program can register in the form of filling in their personal data online. Furthermore, the officer will verify the data.

The second stage, applicants take a short test for basic skills and motivation. After that, applicants will receive an announcement whether they are accepted as participants or not.

The third stage, once they get an announcement, participants can go to the digital platform which is the official partner of the work management and choose the type of training they want.

"The type of training you want is available. Until today, there are 900 types of training available on 8 digital platforms. Please, colleagues, to compare the prices of the packages available and then whether it is what you want to learn," said Denni. .

After that, the participants just need to take part in the training. The training is conducted online. "In the era of COVID-19, we decided that all training was carried out online, not face-to-face, which carried the risk of transmission of COVID-19," he continued.

After conducting the training, participants will then receive an electronic certificate. Here, participants are asked to provide an honest review of the quality of the training before receiving incentives.
