Head of Operations for the Cartenz Peace Task Force Brigadier General Faizal Rahmadani said the joint team consisting of members of the Cartenz Peace Task Force and the Nabire Police are currently still pursuing the KKB led by Aibon Kogoya who carried out the attack on civilians in Nabire.

The attack was carried out by shooting at vehicles passing through the Semen River area, Wadio Atas, West Nabire District, Nabire Regency, Central Papua, Friday (17/10) causing one death.

The attack on a Hilux vehicle in addition to killing Masturiyadi, also resulted in four other people being injured.

The other four injured victims were Yance Maaki (38 years old), Aser Kegou (45 years old), Martinus Maaki (42 years old) and Ari.

"They were injured as a result of gunshot wounds and broken glass and the vehicle they were traveling in was heavily damaged because they were shot," said Brigadier General Faizal.
