SBY Enjoys Beautiful Views Of Sarangan Telaga While Painting

The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) travels and paints beautiful views of Sarangan /ANTARA/HO-Diskominfo Kab Magetan

Former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) traveled and enjoyed the beautiful view of the Sarangan Telaga on the slopes of Mount Lawu, Sarangan Village, Plaosan District, Magetan Regency, East Java.

The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia said the view of the Sarangan Telaga was so beautiful that he wanted to paint it.

"Telaga Sarangan Magetan is amazingly beautiful, the air is fresh and calming. I want to capture it in a painting," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 17.

SBY's presence with his entourage was greeted directly by the Forkopimda ranks of Magetan Regency. Magetan Regent Nanik Endang, Deputy Regent of Magetan Suyatni, and Magetan Police Chief AKBP Erik.

Magetan Regent Nanik said the visit of the former President of SBY in Telaga Sarangan was a special momentum for Magetan Regency. This is because Sarangan Telaga is one of East Java's tourist icons known as the beautiful natural panoramic and cool air.

He assessed that the visit brought new enthusiasm for the Magetan Regency Government team to continue to develop Magetan tourism so that it was more advanced and widely known.

"We are honored and happy for Pak SBY's visit. This is a motivation for us to maintain the natural beauty and potential of Magetan tourism," said Nanik.

In addition to enjoying the scenery, SBY also captures the beauty of Sarangan Telaga through brushes on the canvas. The momentum of SBY painting on the edge of Telaga Sarangan with the view of the background of Mount Lawu attracts the attention of the public and tourists who are visiting the tourist attraction.

SBY was not alone in the painting activity. He was accompanied by art students as well as members of the SBY Art Community who co-worked together.

During his visit to Magetan, SBY was accompanied by his second son Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas) and other entourage.
