SERANG After being deactivated by the Governor of Banten Andra Soni, Head of SMAN 1 Cimarga, Dini Fitria, is now officially back to being active in leading the school. The case of alleged student squeezing by Dini which had gone viral on social media was finally resolved peacefully.

Previously, the deactivation was carried out by the Banten Provincial Government (Pemprov) as a step to calm the situation in the post-incident school environment between the principal and a student.

The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Banten Province, Deden Apriandhi, said that the decision to reactivate Dini was a direct instruction from Governor Andra Soni.

"It has started to be active again because yesterday was in accordance with the decision of the Governor of Banten," said Deden when met at SMAN 1 Cimarga, Thursday, October 16.

Deden explained that the decision was taken after the Governor succeeded in mediating both parties, namely the principal and the student's family, until both agreed to forgive each other.

"The governor has mediated and thank God both parties have been able to forgive each other," he said.

He added that the report that had previously been submitted to the police had also been withdrawn after a peace agreement.

"With the signing of the peace agreement, reports to the police can be withdrawn. Both are sincere and committed to improving themselves," he said.

The Banten Provincial Government will also provide assistance and counseling or trauma healing for all parties involved, including the student concerned.

"Conseling will be done not only for Ananda Indra, but also for other students. The goal is that the teaching and learning process returns to normal," added Deden.

Meanwhile, Dini Fitria could not contain her emotions when she returned to work. He said he was relieved that he had been forgiven and was able to return to teaching, although he was still worried about the incident that had tarnished his good name.

"Thank God my feelings have been forgiven, but honestly there are still worries in my heart," said Dini with teary eyes.

Dini emphasized that she had no bad intentions towards students and only tried to carry out her duties as an educator as best she could.

"Even if I were a nobody, not a civil servant, I would still fight for the nation's education with the abilities I have," he said.

With Dini's return to lead SMAN 1 Cimarga, the Banten Provincial Government hopes that teaching and learning activities can return to harmony. The government also urges all teachers, students, and parents to strengthen communication in order to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future.
