Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Tata emphasized that today's main question is not is GNB still relevant? However, does NAM choose to remain relevant?
"For example, independence in Palestine used to be the pulse of NAM, but now the collective voice of this movement is fading," said Deputy Foreign Minister Tata.
Furthermore, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tata regretted that only 70 percent of GNB members supported the New York Declaration on the Two-State Solution, reflecting the decline in GNB solidarity for Palestine.

"We must stop the habit of spending resources to compile thousands of document pages that do not provide direct benefits to the people," he said.
In addition, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Tata emphasized that the relevance of the NAM depends on a strong and fair multilateral system rooted in the UN Charter and international law.
Therefore, Deputy Foreign Minister Tata called for NAM to be at the forefront of fighting for more inclusive UN reforms and multilateral systems, as well as taking sides with justice and the rule of law, especially for the Palestinian people.
Closing his speech, Deputy Foreign Minister Tata invited NNB to strengthen South-South cooperation, including by maximizing the role of NAM Center for South-South Technical Cooperation in Jakarta as a center for development cooperation and knowledge exchange for developing countries.
"We must revive the spirit of togetherness, from NAM to NAM, in order to empower each other and strengthen collective independence," said Deputy Foreign Minister Tata.
