DVI East Java Police Identification Of 3 Bodies Of Victims Of Al Khoziny Building Ambruk

The East Java Regional Police Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team has again identified three bodies of victims of the collapse of the Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School, Sidoarjo.

"The team has succeeded in identifying four body bags consisting of three bodies and one body part," said Head of the East Java Regional Police for Medicine and Health (Kabiddokes) Kombes M. Khusnan Marzuki at Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 14.

Khusnan explained that the identification results showed a match between postmortem and antemortem data from three victims and one victim who was still alive.

The body bag with postmortem number RSBB 029 was identified through DNA and medical fits the antemortem number 002 on behalf of Ubay Dinhaiazkal Askia (15), a resident of East Batoporo Hamlet, Kedungdung, Sampang.

Body bags with postmortem number RSPB 036 were identified through DNA, medical, and personal properties matching the 063 antemortem on behalf of M. Muhfi Alvian (16), a resident of Perum The Sun Village C14, Damarsi, Buduran, Sidoarjo.

Meanwhile, the body bags with the postmortem number RSBP 053, RSBP 056, and RSBP 062 were identified as one identity, namely Abdul Halim (16), a resident of Bulak Banteng Madya, Kenjeran, Surabaya.

In addition, one bag with the postmortem number RSBP 035B through a DNA test matched the victim Nur Ahmad Ramatulloh who was still alive.

"For this body part, it is a victim who is amputated at the location. We will also do a DNA test, and it will depend on whether the family is taken or we send it there," he said.

As of Tuesday, the joint team from the East Java Regional Police's DVI has succeeded in identifying 58 of the 67 body bags received. Of the total 63 reports of missing victims, there are still five victims who have not been found.
