US Blacklist 15 Chinese Importers Facilitate Houthi And Hamas Drones

JAKARTA - The United States (US) added 15 Chinese importers to the list of business units restricted to trade cooperation with the US.

Dozens of companies allegedly facilitated the purchase of US electronic components found in Iranian drone or proxy drones, particularly Houthi and Hamas militants.

Based on the US Federal Register's upload, 10 Chinese companies are included in the Trade Department's Entity List for facilitating the purchase of components found in the Houthi and Hamas-operated armed drone systems.

While five other Chinese companies were added to the list following information around October 7, 2023, Israel's Defense Forces found the rubble of a number of armed drones used by Iranian proxies indicating several electronic components from the US.

Overall, there are 29 entries included in the list by the US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security.

China Electronics Trading Arrows based in Shanghai and Hong Kong Arrow Electronics are among the companies included in the list.
