Police Arrest 15-Year-Old Student Perpetrators Of Stabbing In Grogol Petamburan

JAKARTA - One of the two students became victims of a stabbing while in front of a grocery store, Jalan Semeru, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. The action was caught on CCTV cameras and reported to the Grogol Petamburan Police for further action.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Grogol Petamburan Police, AKP Alexander Tenggunan, said the perpetrators were arrested by the police and the school. The perpetrator is a child in conflict with the law (ABH) because he is a minor and has a student status.

"We have secured the perpetrators from the results of the collaboration between the police and the school. Currently, the investigation is still ongoing to explore the motive," said AKP Alexander when confirmed, Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

The stabbing perpetrator is known to have the initials KA (15). It is not yet known the motive for the perpetrator had the heart to stab the victim with the initials PL (18).

"This perpetrator's status is a child with a face to the law (ABH). The incident occurred on Friday, October 3, 2025, when the victim was chased by a group of students to enter a shop," he said.

Despite trying to take shelter in the shop, the perpetrators have the heart to keep chasing the victim and slashing him with a sickle.

The victim suffered serious injuries to his neck. The victim had undergone intensive treatment at the RSCM ER, before finally being sent home for outpatient treatment.

Meanwhile, the perpetrators of the train are still being investigated deeply regarding the motive for the stabbing, whether it was a brawl or if there was another grudge. Until now the case is still being handled by the Grogol Petamburan Police.
