JAKARTA - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia affirms its commitment to accountability and transparency of financial governance by achieving an Unqualified Opinion (WTP).
This opinion was given on the Financial Statements for Fiscal Year 2024 from the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) on October 6, 2025.
In his remarks, Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono expressed his highest appreciation to the BPK RI - which not only strengthens financial accountability - but also contributes to improving the quality of Indonesia's diplomatic performance in the global arena.
"More than just a strategic partner, BPK also provides guidance on the governance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure useful diplomatic performance on a domestic and international scale," said Foreign Minister Sugiono in a statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as quoted on October 7.
The achievement of WTP Opinion for nine consecutive years is a tangible manifestation of the commitment and integrity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' bureaucracy.
This is in line with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' efforts to prioritize professional, effective, efficient, and transparent financial management to support the implementation of accountable diplomatic tasks.
