JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Office Ani Ruspitawati targets all nutritional fulfillment service units (SPPG) or Free Nutrition Food kitchens (MBG) in Jakarta to have a certificate in two weeks.
This refers to the central government's policy which now requires all MBG kitchens to have a sanitation hygiene certificate (SLHS), a hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) certificate, and a halal certificate due to the large number of cases of MBG poisoning.
"If everything goes well, the MBG kitchen certification process is targeted to be completed in the next two weeks," Ani told reporters, Monday, October 6.
Currently, there are 180 MBG kitchens in Jakarta. Ani revealed that none of the SPPGs have pocketed SLHS. Ani revealed that her party will accelerate the issuance of SLHS so that all MBG kitchens have met the operational requirements according to the tiegets given.
In addition, the DKI Provincial Government will also conduct a re-environmental health inspection (IKL) of all SPPGs. This inspection has actually been carried out since the MBG kitchen was established. IKL is rerun to ensure the food provider's kitchen continues to operate according to standards.
"So massively we do IKL, the target is the next 2 weeks. Including we are conducting training on the person in charge of the SPPG and also for the food supplier," explained Ani.
"There are about 8 thousand people who are trained. We will continue to train around 8 thousand people, so that they can manage the management in their respective SPPGs better," he added.
